SuperWrap II certification training
Rezitech recently welcomed the Veolia team to our Belzona-certified training facility in Hallam for SuperWrap II certification training.
Belzona SuperWrap II is a carbon fibre and glass fibre composite wrap system that can be designed and applied in accordance with ISO 24817 and ASME PCC-2, supporting high-integrity repairs on pipes and tanks without the need for hot work.
Across the course, participants built both theoretical understanding and practical capability, including:
- International standards overview (ISO 24817 / ASME PCC-2)
- Material application techniques and step-by-step installation methodology
- Practical demonstrations and a validation exam to confirm competency
- Supervisor training, focused on responsibilities, defect assessment and sign-off documentation
A highlight of the supervisor component was an exercise where participants closely reviewed work completed by the trainer and documented any deliberate errors, thereby mirroring the inspection mindset required in the field.
By completing this training, the Veolia team is better equipped to plan, apply and oversee professional, standards-aligned composite repairs for pipes and tanks, helping ensure safer, more consistent outcomes on site.
