Perfect for Priming

Made from heavy duty, durable plastic, PlasVac is the perfect alternative for priming. It will not suffer from erosion/corrosion as its cast iron counterparts do, it is ready to start any time, every time, without fail.

Often a priming pump is left standing for a period of time unused, and traditional cast iron priming pumps are notorious for having problems with erosion/corrosion if ledft standing unoperated for too long.

Normally nine times out of ten cast iron priming pumps will not start in this situation, but not so with the PlasVac Pump – made of plastic the PlasVac Pump is free from erosion/corrosion problems.

Great for Centrifugal Pumps

Centrifugal pumps are used to pump from reservoirs, lakes, streams and shallow wells. They are also used as booster pumps in irrigation pipelines. All centrifugal pumps must be completely filled with water or “primed” before they can operate. The suction line as well as the pump have to be filled with water and free of air.

Again PlasVac is a great choice for this type of application due to its ability to be ready for work without the threat of erosion/corrosion issues.
