Rezitech recently delivered onsite training to Brisbane-based Contract Resources, a specialist provider of industrial services.
The morning began with a classroom session covering the theoretical aspects of Belzona products including application videos. In the afternoon, the focus shifted to practical techniques for repairing live leaks using our emergency grades of Belzona 1212 and Belzona 9611, followed by overcoating using Belzona 1111 and Belzona 9341 (Reinforcement Tape). The methods practiced included cold plate bonding and the use of a torniquet, followed by overwrapping using Belzona 1111 and Belzona 9341. Both methods are applicable for emergency and permanent repairs.
Participants were introduced to the advantages of Belzona’s surface-tolerant epoxies, which are specifically formulated for active leaks. Their fast-curing properties and simple in-situ application, without the need for specialised equipment, make them ideal for emergency repairs, including rapid pipe leak sealing and work in restricted-access areas.
