Grand Opening of Rezitech Townsville Workshop

The Rezitech team recently came together in Townsville to celebrate the grand opening of our new North Queensland workshop.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was led by Lisa Haynes, daughter of our late founder, Eric Haynes, who sadly passed away in 2017. Barry Nisill, CEO of Belzona also joined us all the way from Miami.

The opening of the workshop marks the culmination of years of planning and dedication by the Rezitech board and leadership team in Townsville. It also continues Eric Haynes’ vision for Rezitech to deliver industrial maintenance solutions and vacuum pump technology of the highest quality across Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea.

The new 1,400m² facility is a state-of-the-art workshop, fully equipped with two 10-tonne gantry cranes, a high-capacity chilled steel abrasive blasting booth, a spacious spray painting booth, a dust- and fume-filtered fabrication area, and lathes capable of machining up to 1,430mm in diameter by 4.5m. It also houses smaller lathes, milling machines, and line boring equipment. Additionally, the Townsville workshop will offer on-site pump efficiency testing and technical support.
