PROBLEM
A State Water Authority needed to install new pump pedestals in an environment highly susceptible to erosion and corrosion.
Without appropriate protection, these critical assets risked premature deterioration, structural instability, and increased maintenance costs.
To ensure long-term operational reliability, the authority required a coating solution that could deliver exceptional corrosion resistance and robust erosion protection while also withstanding continuous exposure to chemicals typically encountered in water and wastewater infrastructure.

APPLICATION
Belzona 1341 (Supermetalglide) was selected as the protective coating. Rezitech’s Melbourne team expertly applied this two-coat system, ensuring a high-quality protective finish.
The system provides superior resistance to erosion and corrosion and is certified to AS/NZS 4020 for potable water use, ensuring long-term performance and compliance in critical water infrastructure.
